I remember in other forums we had an adoption thread going where each person adopted another member who wanted to participate and it was a lot of fun making adopted tags to keep in our siggies and so on.

SOOOO if anyone else in interested in being adopted or adopting a friend let's get started!

I remember that too! My "adoptive" mother was less than half my age. Would you like to adopt me as your "son"? I'd like a new photo of you (preferably sideways) so I can make the tag! The only ones I have of you are from before you got married! (please send me loads in a PM)

I'm glad you're interested Geoff! I would love to adopt you! I can send you some pics but I'm not sure how new of ones I have, I'll look though! :hugs:

My husband and I want to be adopted so we can move to the U.S.
We are self-sufficient, well behaved (at least most of the time) and since we no longer have our parents, we are orphans.
We clean up after ourselves and we'd rather have our own house.
I make a wicked martini and he's a wizzard on the grill.
We already have all the toys we need and at our age, we don't require Christmas or birthday presents.
We have no family baggage: no kids, no brothers or sisters on either side and no exes.
Mom? Dad?
